Edna Felix
Edna Felix is a Mexican American attorney and a first-generation daughter of immigrants who is passionate about serving her community with care, integrity, and excellence. Her story is rooted in resilience; at just five years old, her family was forced to separate, and she returned from Mexico to California (where she was born) while her father was incarcerated for ten years.
A proud UC Riverside alumna, Edna continued forward even when her parents migrated back to Mexico in 2007 and could not attend her UCR graduation, one of her biggest accomplishments at the time. Without mentors, resources, or financial assistance to guide her, she paved her own path to law school. She attended the Southern California Institute of Law in a four-year part-time program while working full-time as a legal assistant to finance her legal education. During law school, she joined the international law fraternity Delta Theta Phi and served in student leadership, including as Student Body President and Student Bar Association President.
Today, Edna is the owner of her own law firm, where she practices personal injury, estate planning, and probate. She is also a proud mom of four and has been married for nearly 10 years. Edna is honored to return to her alma mater and ready to pay it forward, encouraging young Latinas to believe in their potential and reminding them they don’t have to walk this journey alone.
