June 28 - july 5, 2025
Join a group of women on the WITTS Small Group Trip to Spain in July of 2025! Enjoy a mix of culture, history, food and beautiful beaches on the island of Ibiza. Attendees will start off in Barcelona, where you'll tour the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, stroll through the streets noshing on Spanish tapas along the way, and dance in the streets like the Spanish do, enjoying Barcelona's vibrant nightlife. You'll have an entire day to yourself in Barcelona to shop, tour museums, sightsee places that you've been dying to see but aren't on our group itinerary, relax at the spa or, well... do whatever you'd like! We will take a day trip to Monserrat Monastery where we'll enjoy lunch and wine tasting. Then after 3 nights in Barcelona, you'll fly to the picturesque island of Ibiza. Here, you'll stay three nights in Ibiza where you'll shop, dine and stroll through the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dalt Vila. While in Ibiza, we'll enjoy its famed beach clubs and exciting nightlife.

3 hours of MCLE credits will be offered for this program. Pending certification with the State Bar.

Saturday, June 28
Arrive in Barcelona
Travelers to Barcelona will depart the US on Friday, July 11th and arrive in Barcelona the following day (Saturday). You'll be picked up by private transportation and taken to our hotel in Barcelona city center. The group is arriving at different times, so we will all meet up at the hotel and then the evening will be free to do as you please. Use the evening to get situated in your hotel and either explore Barcelona's nightlife or stay in to rest for the day ahead.
Sunday, June 29
Barcelona Monuments
On your first full day in Athens, you'll take a guided walking tour of the popular sites to see: the Acropolis, where you'll explore the Parthenon before the crowds show up and see the iconic Temple of Hephaestus. You'll explore the Acropolis with an expert guide and see the Monumental Gateway, Erechtheum, Theater of Dionysus and Herodes Atticus, as well as panoramic views over the city. Later that afternoon, the group will enjoy a hosted cooking class and dinner together at ERGON House.

Monday, June 30
MCLEs + Free Day
In the morning after breakfast, we'll spend a few hours doing MCLEs. The final group will decide whether they would like to do all ethics CLEs or a mix of general CLEs at our hotel. After our morning educational sessions, you'll have the entire afternoon and evening free to yourself! Choose to shop, spend the afternoon at a spa, do additional sightseeing, visit one of Barcelona's many acclaimed museums, and drink and dine at local eateries of your choosing. Other than breakfast, meals and activities on this day are not included.
Tuesday, July 1
Monserrat Monastery
Marvel over Montserrat, and then enjoy tapas and wine on a full-day, small-group tour from Barcelona. Ride the cogwheel train to the mountaintop monastery of Montserrat, where you'll admire views over the Catalan countryside. Next, head to the Oller del Mas château, where you can tour the wine cellar, stroll the vineyards, and indulge in an expert-led wine tasting. Finally, enjoy a 3-course meal at a local restaurant. That evening, we'll enjoy dinner together at a traditional Spanish eatery.

Wednesday, July 2
Head to Ibiza
In the morning, we'll take a short flight to the nearby island of Naxos (this flight is included). Arriving in Ibiza around noon, we'll drop our bags at the new hotel, then explore UNESCO World Heritage Site Dalt Vila. Dating from the Renaissance, Dalt Vila offers cobblestone streets with cozy bars, shops, sidewalk cafes, and art galleries, along with military cannons, tunnels, and panoramic Balearic Sea views. It’s home to Ibiza Castle, the 13th-century Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, and Phoenician artifacts at Sa Capelleta Interpretation Center. Dinner in town is included.
Thursday, July 3
Boat Day!
Yep, you guessed it: we'll be having a boat day! Usually one of the best days on a WITTS Small Group Trip, you'll spend the day out on the water in a private catamaran charter. Spend a wonderful day exploring the best beaches and hidden coves on the coastline of Ibiza, while soaking up the sun, snorkeling and enjoying the stunning white sand beaches. After the charter, the evening will be a "free night" to either relax at the hotel or keep the party going and check out the nightlife.

Friday, July 4
Beach Club
Today, we'll do what most people come to Ibiza to do: enjoy a beach club! There are dozens of great beach clubs to choose from in Ibiza. Attendees will choose as a group where to go on this day. We'll rent cabanas and spend the day lounging in the sun and dancing. Later in the afternoon, we'll head back to the hotel to freshen up, and then do one last dinner together as a group. Afterwards, we'll all head to one of Ibiza's famed nightclubs, where we'll go out with a bang--the perfect way to celebrate the 4th of July!
Saturday, July 5

Please Read Before Signing Up
Whether you are a new attendee or have attended a prior WITTS Group Trip , please read the following terms, as the terms have changed:

Space for this trip is limited and it is anticipated that it will fill up quickly. After registration, you will be sent a link to pay a non-refundable $1,000 deposit. If you've been on a prior WITTS trip, you may have noticed the deposit is higher. This is because the constant booking and cancellation of attendees is very difficult to accommodate and nearly all the hotels, tours and catamaran charter are prepaid many months in advance. Your spot cannot be held without paying the deposit. You will have three (3) days to pay the deposit; after which, if payment has not been received, your spot may be given away to someone else. After paying a deposit, 50% of the remaining balance will be due 90 days prior to the start of the trip, with the full balance due 60 days prior to the first day of the trip.
This is a group trip. If you cannot be respectful and kind to other attendees, then this trip is not for you. If you cannot commit to being on time—as a courtesy to other attendees—then this trip is also not for you. Similarly, if you do not do well in a small group setting, you may want to reconsider attending. If travel stresses you out, then traveling in a group setting probably won't be any easier. If you are particular about sharing a room with people, then you are strongly encouraged to book a single. In sum, negativity on group trips has the ability to ruin other people's trip. For this reason, you are strongly encouraged to think about whether a group trip is right for you before signing up.
If you can commit to being respectful of other attendees, are open to trying new foods and experiences, and are looking for a trip where you will bond with like-minded female trial lawyers and women in the legal industry, enjoy incredible dishes and see what the Spain has to offer, then it would be our pleasure to host you.

*All attendees are required to purchase a travel insurance policy that includes medical coverage. While any travel insurance policy with medical coverage will suffice, attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase a policy with Cancel for Any Reason coverage. In the event that life gets in the way last minute and you are required to cancel within thirty (30) days of the trip, for a reason that is not covered by typical insurance policies, Cancel for Any Reason coverage may help get some of your money back. Please read the entirety of our cancellation policy, along with general Terms & Conditions, HERE.
