Arrive in Grand Harbor

Travelers to Grand Cayman will fly into Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM). There are nonstop flights from LAX and many others with layovers in Miami. Flights from Southern California to Grand Cayman arrive in the late afternoon. A private van service will greet all attendees on arrival and take them to either a resort or a luxury villa. If you arrive early, take the opportunity to get settled into your room at the resort and sip on an umbrella drink until your fellow attendees arrive. That evening, the group will get together for a kickoff dinner at the Cayman Cookout.

Saturday, January 13

The Cayman Cookout!

On our first full day, we'll take advantage of one of the main reasons for being on the Cayman Islands: the famed Cayman Cookout. As the epitome of exclusive culinary festivals, Cayman Cookout stands as one of the world's most cherished celebrations of food and wine, granting guests an extraordinary weekend dedicated to indulging their senses. This exceptional experience can only be found on the captivating shores of Grand Cayman. You'll start the morning with a culinary demonstration, enjoy lunch and then a cocktail demonstration later that day. Mix and mingle with chefs like Eric Ripert, Andrew Zimmern, Emeril Lagasse and more.

The Cayman Cookout

Continue eating and drinking throughout the morning and experience the final day of the Cayman Cookout, which is held at the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman resort. The group will enjoy a champagne brunch in the morning and a rum demonstration in the afternoon. You'll have the evening free to go into town to enjoy the nightlife or just relax back at the resort or villa. Get your rest because the following day will be spent on the best place to spend the day in the Caribbean: out on the water.

Monday, January 15

Boat Day

If you've ever been on a WITTS Small Group Trip before, you already know that one of the best things to do is to spend time out on the water. So today, we'll have a private catamaran chartered for the whole day, which will take us to secluded beaches and offer snorkeling at the famed Stingray City, where you can swim with the sting rays. If you're not up for swimming with sting rays, no worries--you'll just enjoy some fun and relaxation in the beautiful Caribbean sun. You'll have free time in the evening to go into town or walk to a nearby restaurant.

Explore the Island

Grand Cayman has several great towns to see, including the Capital of George Town, Old Man Bay and Bodden Town. The morning and afternoon will be a FREE DAY, where attendees can choose to either go into town, where they can shop or visit museums or art galleries, visit nearby beaches or stay back at the villa. Those opting out of a trip to town can choose to stay back at the villa to read, kayak or lay by the pool. The group will enjoy a hosted meal back at the villa together that evening.

Wednesday, January 17

Beach Day

What better way to enjoy the Cayman Islands than to visit its beautiful white sand beaches? Grand Cayman is known for its stunning beaches and sunny days. On our beach day, we will load up in a private van and head out to some of the islands best beaches. Choose to swim, snorkel or just lay on the sand. We'll enjoy a casual lunch together, then head off to another beach. That evening, we'll all enjoy one final dinner together to end the trip.

Space for this trip is limited and it is anticipated that it will fill up quickly. After registration, you will be sent a link to pay a non-refundable $500 deposit. Your spot cannot be held without paying the deposit. You will have three (3) days to pay the deposit; after which, if payment has not been received, your spot may be given away to someone else. 50% payment will be due 60 days prior to the start of the trip, with the full balance due 30 days prior to the first day of the trip.

This is a group trip.  If you cannot be respectful and kind to other attendees, then this trip is not for you. If you cannot commit to being on time—as a courtesy to other attendees—then this trip is also not for you. Similarly, if you do not do well in a small group setting, you may want to reconsider attending.

If you can commit to being respectful of other attendees, are open to trying new foods and experiences, and are looking for a trip where you will bond with like-minded female trial lawyers, enjoy incredible dishes and see what the exciting island has to offer, then it would be our pleasure to host you.

While any travel insurance policy with medical coverage will suffice, attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase a policy with Cancel for Any Reason coverage. In the event that life gets in the way last minute and you are required to cancel within thirty (30) days of the trip, for a reason that is not covered by typical insurance policies, Cancel for Any Reason coverage may help get some of your money back. Please read the entirety of our cancellation policy, along with general Terms & Conditions, HERE.
