Join Lauren Wood, host of the Women in Trial Travel Summit, for the ultimate WITTS Glow-Up Getaway to Seoul, South Korea in the fall of 2027. This exclusive small-group experience brings together a community of accomplished women lawyers for a week dedicated to connection, culture, incredible food—and a little time to focus on ourselves.
South Korea has become one of the world’s most exciting destinations for beauty, skincare, wellness, and aesthetics, and we’re building this trip around experiencing it firsthand. One full day will be dedicated to private consultations at a premier Seoul med spa, where attendees can learn about the treatments, technology, and skincare innovations that have made Korean beauty famous around the world. From there, the choice is entirely yours. Afternoons throughout the trip will be intentionally left open, giving you the opportunity to schedule any treatments you choose—or skip the med spa altogether and spend that time shopping, sightseeing, relaxing, or exploring Seoul on your own.
And there will be plenty of Seoul to explore. Our mornings and evenings will bring the group together for a curated mix of Korean culture, cuisine, history, nightlife, shopping, and some uniquely WITTS experiences. We’ll discover both sides of this fascinating city—from historic palaces, traditional neighborhoods, and bustling markets to the fashion, food, beauty, and energy that have made modern Seoul one of the most dynamic cities in Asia.
As with all WITTS trips, the details will be thoughtfully arranged for you—from luxury accommodations and private transportation to curated experiences and group dining—while intentionally building in something we don’t always get enough of on group trips: free time. Whether your personal version of a glow-up means a cutting-edge skincare treatment, a Korean spa day, an afternoon of shopping, or simply having nowhere you need to be, this trip is designed to let you make it your own.
More than anything, this is still a WITTS trip—an opportunity to step away from our demanding careers, recharge, share experiences, and build meaningful connections with other women in law. The trip will also include dedicated WITTS speaker programming and the opportunity to earn 3 hours of MCLE credits.*
Pending certification with the State Bar. Number of credits are dependent upon the number of speakers and time spoken on the trip. A minimum of 6 speakers is required to offer CLEs. If attendees fail to participate, no MCLEs will be applied for.

Sunday, October 17th
The Seoul Glow-Up
Today is all about the glow-up. We’ll spend the first part of the day together at one of Seoul’s premier aesthetic clinics for private consultations and an introduction to the treatments, skincare, and technology that have made South Korea a global beauty destination. After your consultation, the rest of the day is yours. Schedule any optional treatments that interest you, head out for some serious Korean beauty shopping, book a spa experience, or skip the beauty treatments entirely and explore Seoul. Your glow-up, your rules.
Saturday, October 16th
Meet in Seoul
Welcome to Seoul! Arrive, settle into our luxury accommodations, and take some time to relax after the journey. With attendees arriving at different times (and unfortunately sometimes travel delays) there will be no hosted activities on this day. But once everyone arrives, we'll meet to officially kick off our WITTS Glow-Up Getaway and toast to the week ahead—equal parts culture, connection, adventure, and a little self-care.
Monday, October 17th
Old Seoul + New Seoul
Today we’ll experience the contrasts that make Seoul so fascinating, from centuries-old traditions and historic neighborhoods to the energy, fashion, food, and culture of modern Korea. After our morning adventures, the afternoon is intentionally yours to enjoy however you choose—including scheduling additional optional treatments or simply heading out to explore the city on your own. We’ll reconnect later for another WITTS evening in Seoul.
Tuesday, October 18th
MCLEs + Seoul Your Way
We’ll start the morning with our WITTS speaker sessions and the opportunity to earn 3 hours of MCLE credits.* Then the rest of the afternoon is yours. This is another opportunity to schedule any optional beauty or wellness treatments you’ve been eyeing—or spend the day shopping, eating, sightseeing, relaxing, or getting completely lost in everything Seoul has to offer. We’ll leave the choice entirely up to you.
Wednesday, October 19th
Explore + Indulge
By now, you’ll know exactly what you want more of. We’ll start the day with another curated taste of Seoul before leaving the afternoon open for you to create your own adventure. Return for a treatment, hunt down your favorite K-beauty products, explore a neighborhood we haven’t visited, indulge in a spa afternoon, or simply relax. The beauty of this trip is that not every minute needs to be scheduled.
Thursday, October 20th
A Day by the Sea
Today we’re trading the energy of Seoul for an entirely different side of South Korea with a day trip to Busan. This colorful coastal city offers beautiful seaside scenery, vibrant neighborhoods, incredible food, and a completely different pace from the capital. We’ll spend the day experiencing some of Busan’s highlights before returning to Seoul in the evening—giving us two distinctly different Korean cities in one unforgettable trip.
Friday, October 21st
One Last Glow
Our final full day is intentionally relaxed. Sleep in, squeeze in one last treatment, stock up on the skincare products you’re now convinced you can’t live without, revisit a favorite neighborhood, or spend a few final hours exploring Seoul.
Tonight, we’ll come back together for a special farewell dinner to celebrate an unforgettable week of friendship, adventure, and perhaps a slightly more refreshed version of ourselves.

Whether you are a new attendee or have attended a prior WITTS Group Trip , please read the following terms, as the terms have changed:
After submitting an application, all applications will be reviewed by WITTS organizers. If accepted, you will receive an invitation to attend the trip and will be sent a link to pay a non-refundable $500 deposit to TourHero. Your spot cannot be held without paying the deposit. Their payment schedule can be found on the their website and will be viewable on the booking link below.
Please make sure to read our Code of Conduct prior to signing up.
This is a group trip. If you cannot be respectful and kind to other attendees, then this trip is not for you. If you cannot commit to being on time—as a courtesy to other attendees—then this trip is also not for you. Similarly, if you do not do well in a small group setting, you may want to reconsider attending. If travel stresses you out, then traveling in a group setting probably won't be any easier. If you are particular about sharing a room with people, then you are strongly encouraged to book a single. In sum, negativity on group trips has the ability to ruin other people's trip. For this reason, you are strongly encouraged to think about whether a group trip is right for you before signing up.
If you can commit to being respectful of other attendees, are open to trying new foods and experiences, and are looking for a trip where you will bond with like-minded female trial lawyers and women in the legal industry, enjoy incredible dishes and see what the Sicily has to offer, then it would be our pleasure to host you.
*All attendees are required to purchase a travel insurance policy that includes medical coverage. While any travel insurance policy with medical coverage will suffice, attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase a policy with Cancel for Any Reason coverage. In the event that life gets in the way last minute and you are required to cancel within thirty (30) days of the trip for a reason that is not covered by typical insurance policies, Cancel for Any Reason coverage may help get some of your money back. Flights & Travel Information
You will want to book a flight that departs on Friday, October 15th and arrives in Seoul (SEL) in the early afternoon or evening on Saturday, Ocotber 16th. Your return should depart on Friday, October 22nd, unless you are planning to extend your trip and stay longer to enjoy more of what South Korea has to offer.
Application & Approval Process
To ensure a great fit and maintain the intimate, community-focused nature of our small group trips, all interested travelers must first submit an application through this page.
Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will receive a separate registration link from our travel partner, TourHero. TourHero serves as the official tour operator for this trip and will handle all trip registrations, deposits, payment plans, traveler information, and booking confirmations.
Please note that submitting an application does not reserve your spot on the trip. Your space is not confirmed until you complete your registration through TourHero and submit any required deposit.
Because these trips are intentionally kept small, approved applicants are encouraged to complete their registration promptly, as spots may fill quickly.
