Kristyn Berger

As the Founder and President of Berger HR Solutions, Kristyn Berger provides law firms and other professional service organizations with strategic human resources and organizational development solutions that enhance employee performance, improve firm culture, and mitigate employment risks.
Before launching Berger HR Solutions, Kristyn spent almost a decade as an HR leader in the financial services industry. As Vice President and Senior Human Resources Business Partner for M&T Bank’s Greater Washington Retail Market, she worked closely with senior leadership to align talent strategies with business objectives. Through this experience, she recognized a growing need for proactive, high-level HR guidance tailored to the unique challenges faced by small and mid-sized professional firms—including law firms.
Kristyn specializes in areas critical to legal employers, including performance management, attorney and staff development, employee engagement, workplace culture, consultative employee relations, executive coaching, and full-cycle recruitment. She has advised clients in legal services, financial services, technology, healthcare, and other professional sectors, helping them navigate complex HR issues while maintaining compliance and minimizing risk.
Kristyn holds a Master of Business Administration in Organization Development from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Pennsylvania State University.
