Anne L. Thompson is the Chief Claims Officer for Lawyers’ Mutual Insurance Company. Lawyers’ Mutual Insurance Company has been providing professional liability insurance to California lawyers since 1978.

Ms. Thompson is a Certified Specialist in Legal Malpractice Law, as designation by the State Bar of California. There are approximately 100 lawyers throughout the state that hold this designation. Ms. Thompson leads the claims department overseeing litigation and pre-litigation strategy and legal analysis in defense of claims. She is also responsible for the evaluation of coverage concerns regarding policyholder tenders. She participates in mediation and settlement negotiations on behalf of policyholders. Ms. Thompson provides hotline assistance with ethical issues or concerns from policyholders.
